My Holidays Diary (part I)

December 27

I went to Circle C with yuan and rain for yuan’s dental cleaning and for his barber’s cut. Circle C’s one of our favorite shopping mall, it’s situated along congressional avenue which is in close proximity to our old house in Project 6. It is where I would go for foot spa, reflexology and body massage, facial cleaning and of course shopping! T’was also where yuan had his first Milo Taekwondo class in summer of 2007. Now that our house is 30-45 minutes away from Cirlcle C, we still find the place very convenient and I would pay a visit everytime I am in the country.

After getting our feet tired shopping for what we need, we took a break and had our favourite California maki , Yuan finished half of the box and had a pocket of cheese fries after. We took a cab home and stayed in the house with my family on a Saturday.

December 28

Ladies went on shopping with yuan and the big boys went to Araneta for Ginebra games. It was a Sunday, obviously the Christians didn’t go to church..hehehhe. I shopped for some blouses and bought tatay an ipod for his RAV 4. We finished shopping when almost all the stalls around closed. Ate Lala has this shopping cart where we put all of the stuff we bought, pulling it is better than carrying a bunch of plastic bags.

Later that night I went out with rain and carol(yuan’s ate). After trying 3 comedy bars which were all jam packed, we ended up in Klownz Quezon Avenue. I am not really a fanatic of Wally and Jose, but they were good. Rain and me enjoyed the night with beer and sisig and nachos, a bonding we never had for months.

December 29

Yuan told me that he missed playing at Kidz@work, it is his favourite play area since he started to learn socializing with stangers of his age. He also spent his 7th birthday at this kid’s gym and he is known to some staff already. So we went to SM North after lunch and bought an all-day ticket for him to enjoy while I do some shopping. Yuan is adorable, as I watched him interact with other children I can see how far he would go years from now. He would crack jokes which can make your day and would give comments which would make you think and say “oo nga no?”.

Here’s what happened when it was time for us to leave:

I asked the receptionist to page yuan for it was late already:

Receptionist: Paging yuan Please proceed to the reception area! Yuan, Yuan reception are please.

Yuan: Is it time already?

Me: No but we have to go, it’s late.

Yuan: Ok then, let me out of here.

Then he turned to the receptionist and said:

Yuan: When you called my name over the microphone, you should wait for few minutes before calling it again di ba? Bye I love you!

The receptionist looked at me as if I humilate her, her cheeks turned red, she was speechless but had a smile on her face, I just smiled back at her without saying anything.

Ok then, so we had a dinner at KFC upon yuan’s request and headed back home.
